Tranny went out. Need a transmission shop.

180xxx miles and the snap ring finally goes, I think?

Sometimes it gives all the symptoms of a snap ring, and sometimes it shifts smooth as butter. But when it does give snap ring symptoms, they are getting progressively worse.

They said the snap ring issue was fixed when I bought it, no documentation. Bit since I went this far, I started to believe them.




Anyways, main question, where would you take my car? My favorite mechanic, mister ramon won't open the tranny, so he is out. Any other ideas?
