Well after figuring out my electrical issues, now my auto trans won't engage the gears.... Ugh

Transmission gone up

Gear selector unpluged or bad? Does it start up?
Car starts and will go in gear cold but only lasts a few minutes
It can be a solenoid issue, it does happen with old Honda 4 speeds.
Could also be electrical ether sensor or connection (heat can make connections go tricky)
Does it give transmission cel?

Transmission cel? Not sure if i follow
CEL = Check Engine Light (for which codes are stored and can be pulled)
Ahhhh no check engine light was thrown
Also not in the gear indicator? (those blink when the transmission has e computer issue)
Anyway it could be:
- Bad connection
- Bad connection due to heat (stuff expanding) not likely
- Solenoid issue in the transmission (solenoid A and solenoid B come to mind)
- Control unit issue not seen by the CEL system unlikely but it can happen.
i'd do a base run down,
connections (e.g. A/T gear position switch, wire, connector
fluids (level, filter, strainer)
then go further with troubleshooting.
hydraulic system,
- shift valve
- linear solenoid
- pressure regulation
Anyway it could be:
- Bad connection
- Bad connection due to heat (stuff expanding) not likely

- Control unit issue not seen by the CEL system unlikely but it can happen.

So I had the transmission replaced finally. I get it back from the shop and for some reason it will go through all the gears but then will suddenly try to down shift for no reason and even just give out to where I turn the car off then back on and its fine for a period of time ass if something resets itself... Could it be the computer? Speed sensor? I'm not sure. Trans and torque converter are fine. Not sure what else could cause it...
