that is sick man, the version 2 fenders look real nice in black :)

my eyes are playing tricks on me because in the paint booth it looks pure gunmetal

but the finished job looks like pure jet black

maybe because of the camera?

also did you own that NSX in the Avatar in the past? or is that someone elses?

Very nice car!

What are the 5-spoke wheels on the first picture?

Thanks for the compliment guys!
I have the version 1 fenders that are being worked on right now.
The car is back at my friends house for some touch ups and adjustments.

I'll be taking more pictures soon, I'll be sure to post some of the diffuser and exhaust.

Racing Heart, the 5 spokes are NKB Cups. Check out www.s-2.co.jp

Thanks man!

Those wheels is pretty much exacly what I've been looking for!
Looks alot like Hamann PGIII wich is my fav wheel, but they dont make them for jap cars.

Now i only need to find a NKB vendor...

Cool, I was just talking to NKB's President about 5 minutes ago.
I can help you get them below retail if you're serious.
The 18's and the 19's have different lips. The 18's & 20's come with a straight lip, the 19's come with a step lip. Offset will also vary on drop and use of coilover suspension.
They can also custom paint to any color you want if I ask them to.
Attached is a picture of my friends RX-7 with the same Rims in Super Metal Coat:

Here's my NSX before the transformation:

PM me and I can get you started.

I just can't believe it! That's just my usual luck.:frown:

I wanted 18" front and 19" rear and whith step lips.
- and 19" all around is a no no - i want the staggered NSX look, i think the car looks funny otherwise.

But thanks anyway, I'll get back to you if i change my mind.

In the paint booth, the hood looks painted, later pictures in the light, the hood appears bare. What is it's current state?

BTW, are you US military by any chance? I think we have a base in Guam. (I am former air force)

I'm using 18's in the front with 19's in the rear.
it looks good if you ask me. it is staggered and the front wheels disk comes out almost to the front that it would look weird if it were the step lip.
let me look for another pic. I'll PM you.

Koolaid,

I'm a regular civilian.
Yes there is an Air Force base (Anderson) and 2 Navy bases out here.
The hood in the booth is a FRP hood that was sent to me in the begining. (They made a mistake) A month later I went to Osaka for another one of my many trips out there and picked up my CFRP hood from Sorcery.
That was a PITA. I told the lady when I was checking it in that it was artwork to hang at my house. hehehe...(When you say it's auto related they give you alot of crap) Had to take it out of the box so they could pass it throught the x-ray. I learned that if it cannot fit through the X-ray machine, you cannot check it in at the counter.

Ofcourse if I had more time I would have checked it in at the cargo area but it has to be done during business hours and my flight was in the middle of the night. not to mention the airport is pretty far from the city.
