We're Proud to Introduce the Ultimate Track rim for the NSX, developed with Team Dynamics Racing, a Technical Partner of Honda Racing in Europe, and winner of the British Touring Car Championship with Honda in 2005 and 2006.

The wheels are Manufactured to spec in the United Kingdom.

This rim is produced from the ground up for the NSX, it Clears Stoptech BBK front and rear, and is Hubcentric to the Car (no hubcentric rings required).

The rim has an extra tall lip on the edge, to minimize sidewall deflection, and increase contact patch, in addition to being able to take more abuse, this design is similar to that used in Team Dynamics sponsored cars in the BTCC. The rims are a mix of High Strength and Light Weight, and tip the scales at 19lbs in the front, and 23lbs in the rear.

Center caps are included.

The rims are flush on a lowered, stock fender NSX, and look great. We're currently producing sets in silver, matte black, and white, but other colors can be special ordered.

Delivery takes about 2 months, we have a new set in Matte Black here at our Warehouse in Vegas, ready to ship right away.

Price is $1295 for a set of four, including free shipping within the United States. Delivery in about 2 Months.

Most vendors stopped responding when we said 100pcs of volume, but Team Dynamics loves the NSX, and worked with us to create something custom fit.

It's a great wheel, lightweight and strong, and perfect fit; take the price savings, and buy a set of awesome tires.

+1 sizes please! Given the weights I'm assuming 18/19?

Here is a brief on the manufacturing process used by Team Dynamics:
http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/whoaretd.htm

The wheels are 17x8.0 +38 and 18x9.0 +25, perfectly sized for 215/40/17 and 275/35/18 tires.

The rims are the same basic shape as the Pro Race, but made without the stamping. I did not care for the look of it, which is why this project started, about 8 months ago. Along the way, we made them hubcentric to the NSX, and sized them around a four-wheel Stoptech BBK. Having a conversation where the guy on the other end asked what offset I wanted, any size, rather than a list of offsets, was a nice feeling.

We've even run the front with up to a 235/40/17 tire on stock fenders, with no rubbing side to side (only on the top, since it's taller). If you ditch the liners, this larger front tire should be no problem.

The wheels are flush, don't rub, and clear Stoptech's F and R (not by a mm, but by quite a bit) - they're also custom made for the NSX. If the sizes seem strange, that's because we had a blank canvas, we could create any rim size from scratch, rather than have to work with a rim designed for a 350Z, etc.

Do you think a 215/45/17 tire would rub? That would open up Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

We used CAD models of the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires to determine rim widths, I can't recommend these tires enough, I have them on my bike and my cars.

I suggest pairing the rims with 215/40/17 and 275/35/18 Dunlop Sport Maxx, it's a bolt on transformation that will improve handling more than a suspension upgrade, your car will just stick and track where you want it to go.

John,

being Team Dynamics in UK and me in Portugal, both are in Europe, can the price be even lower
to me ?? i ask this because you wouldn't have to pay so much for shipping or import taxes from Uk to US.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nuno

Nuno,

I'll check with our rep to see if they can send a set directly to Portugal, can you PM me with your shipping info?

It would be silly to send them by boat to the US, only to airmail them back to Europe. I'm sure we can find a solution, and cut down on the 2-month lead time.

Regards

Great wheel. I've been a big fan of Team Dynamics for a long time. Great price! A few questions John.

1. These are cast, not forged, right?
So they are cast wheels, right?

Where can I find this 215/40-17 Sport Maxx? I only see the ZII in that size?

Why not make them in 18x9.5 in the rear? 9" is on the narrower side for a 275 tire.

We've chosen these sizes and offsets for a reason, there is only one size available, designed to offer maximum BBK clearance, lightweight, and strength for a stock-fender NSX, running 215/35/40 and 275/35/18 tires.

We have another batch of rims en route, which should be here in about 3 weeks. Included are 2 white sets, 2 more matte black sets, and 1 more red set.

Is it possible to get a cross-section drawing of these wheels? I'd need to verify that they fit over my brakes before ordering. My car has brakes transplanted from a Porsche 997S, which I understand are slightly wider than the Brembo Lotus calipers. I'm trying to find a set of wheels that work but it's a little unclear the best way to go about that.
