Unused screws on bottom of engine lid?

Anyone know what these were for?

I just looked at my 94 car - same two screws exist, but nothing attached to them like yours.
Maybe someone who has taken the hatch apart knows what these do.
(PS - nice exhaust :smile: )

You can swap the prop rod retaining clip to that position if you like....

I have a JDM RHD and that is the default position for prop rod rest position, easier to access from the drivers POV.
