Upgrade to satellite radio - advice please

Hi, I have some basic questions about upgrading the head unit in my '91. I have used the search, but without success.
I'd like to switch out my stock head unit for a CD receiver with satellite radio, whilst (at least at this stage) retaining my stock speakers and subwoofer. I'm thinking single DIN so I can use the SOS brackets and mount the satellite tuner under the receiver to simplify the wiring; I plan to use one of their adapter harnesses too. So:
. The SOS harness looks like it has 4 RCA connectors, so I presume I need a head unit with at least 4 preamp outlets to feed the stock amplifiers - correct?
. Is a head unit with 2V preamp outlets ok?
. How is the rear speaker (between the seats) connected to the stock head unit?
. Will I still be able to use my cd changer?
Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't touch my radio. I would get the sat radio app on my phone and use that alongside one of the aux adapters like the usaspec or Grom.
