Hello to all!

Apparently after letting my car sit in storage I now have a mouse that ate through some wiring.

My problem circuit is fuse 38. Which has all of these on its circuit.

R. Taillights
Front and side parking lights
License plate lights
Dash brightness control unit & controller
Hazard switch lights
Lighting switch lights
Power mirror/door locks switch lights
Rear defogger switch light
Cruise light
TCS switch light
Stereo radio/cassette dimming lights
Clock
Glove box light
Cigarette lighter light
Gauge lights
Ashtray lights
Automatic climate control switch lights

I bought this short finder and I feel as though I could be getting false readings. Using the device I can even get a tone reading at G301 and G302. Which is in the front engine compartment directly infront of the ABS solenoids

Perhaps I am over thinking this but in the hypothetical situation that a mouse chewed the harness and other exposed wires are touching, could the signal carry down the frayed wires that are touching and cause a false reading?

Here is a video that explains how the short finder works.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated!
