Tan and Yellowdancer (or any lurkers running the same wheels), I'm looking to pickup a set of Volk GT-C Face 1 wheels this week for my '98, and need your help to determine the proper size/offset requirement.

I'm thinking of running the following:

7.0 x 18F (+41 offset)
9.0 x 18.0R (+37 offset)

215/40-17F & 265/35-18R Tires

Thanks for any advice/help.

Mako --

These sizes should work perfect(I think you mean 17x7.0). A customer is also running these types of wheels but in a slightly larger size and different offset, as is even able to clear the SoS AP Racing brakes despite the flat face.

Cheers,

Mako,
I am also considering volk GT-C or AV3 wheels as well as another NSX Prime member. However, I think that 17x8 (front) with 215/40/17 42mm offsets and 18/10 with 285/30/18 40mm offset is the proper setup according to the tire and offset calculators. Perhaps we should all get together as a group buy from the same vendor. Scienceofspeed do you have any thoughts on this setup?

Here are the fitments that Volk recommeneds:

This is from their main site at:

(FYI - have to stay in the Japanese version of the website, go to rays wheels database, choose your wheel, and its the second option on that page)
