Web camming

So I'm going back to "school" for 5 months for a new job and will be away from my wife and kid... since we will be apart, I want to try web camming so we can see each other and I can see my kid grow (9 months old, lots gonna happen)

How do we do it? She has a Mac, me a dell... she has a camera built in to her computer, I have to buy one.

Do we have to subscribe to a website? Download a bunch of things? Buy a program?

Buy a cam for your dell and user Yahoo messenger.

No subscriptions needed. Most instant messengers support webcams these days. I use MSN messenger and AIM instant messenger. They both support video and work pretty good. The only draw back you will see if any will be based on how good your connection is, or how good your computer is. Meaning that if its an older computer or if you have a lot of stuff running in the background, it might run a little choppy.
