Just give me a 458....won't need another car......

Will keep it simple... I'll take the Veyron killer - SSC Ultimate Aero XT for daily, track, & everywhere i go, be done!!!...

Daily: chauffeured Bentley (if I have a whole million to blow on a fake garage, I can blow it on a fake chauffeur too)
SUV: Hummer H1
Family: Range Rover
Show off: Ferrari 458 spyder
Track: Ariel Atom
Collectible: 1963 Stingray split window, 1969 Camaro Z28

Here's my list for 1 million:

599 GTB ($150K)
NA2 NSX-R ($200K)
NA1 NSX-R ($100K)
F430 Scuderia ($200K)
R34 GT-R V-Spec II ($100K)
BB6 Prelude SiR S-spec ($20K)
FD3S RX-7 Spirit R ($40K)
E39 M5 (Dinan Stage 2) ($40K)
Mugen Civic RR ($50K)
MKIV Supra Turbo ($50K)
Alfa Romeo GTV ($20K)
E30 M3 ($30K)

I'm surprised how short the list is! There are a lot of cars that didn't make the budget:

599 GTO ($500K)
DB5 Aston Martin ($450K)
Aston Martin V12 Vantage S ($200K)
McLaren F1 ($8M)
Pagani Zonda ($2M)
McLaren P1 ($1.3M)
458 Speciale ($300K)
Audi Sport Quattro ($60K)

Think I would need about $10M to really start a nice collection. Not to mention the motorcycles I would have!!

Ducati Desmosedici
Ducati Paul Smart 1000
Ducati 916
Ducati 1198S
MV Agusta F4
MV Agusta Brutale
'06 Yamaha R1 Raven
'08 Yamaha R1 Rossi Edition

Hi -
New here. I've posted in the regionals, but thought I'd explore. :D

With $1,000,000:

Race Car: Vintage LMP1 car - $275,000 (Seen vintage LMP cars for sale at Road America during Summer vintage)
Race Budget: $100,000 (Per Season)
Race Hauler/Trailer: $100,000
Exotic: Lexus LFA $400,000 (Availability may drive prices up. I don't know, never priced one out )
Exotic: NSX $35,000

Summer Toy: FD3S RX-7 $25,000
Year Round Daily: WRX $20,000 (2013 5 door, similar to mine, go for ~$20,000)
Utilitarian: Land Cruiser (Early 2000s): ($15,000)

Honorable Mention:
BRZ

With $40,000 for wiggle room.

I think I could find storage for those cars for $40,000 - otherwise I'd have to rethink things.

Not to mention the motorcycles I would have!!

Ducati Desmosedici
Ducati Paul Smart 1000
Ducati 916
Ducati 1198S
MV Agusta F4
MV Agusta Brutale

white98sh, I have several of your dream motorbike collection already. the Italian ones, not the Yamaha's...

Just give me a 458....won't need another car......

I fully agree, one 458 Speciale and I'm good...

When I checked last year these were the approx prices converted to USD. Of course the dollar is much stronger vs the yen now so the prices could be less. However by the time they are legal to import for street use I'm sure it will be many times this price!

the 1098s in the back has now been replaced by an 1198s. the Triumph is gone, the MV Agusta F3 remains. I still have the Supersport, and have added an ST4s and Hypermotard 1100s. unfortunately at present the '96 NSX-T has moved on to a new owner, so that spot in the garage eagerly awaits a 2002+ NSX. in the mean time the Ford F-150 has to handle 4-wheeled duty more often than usual. it's really not the same...

After swiping both neighbors' $ 1 mill:

as insane an automobile as you could imagine (in a good way).

To then keep the neighbors at bay, or for the Zombie Apocalypse:

Beautiful collection! I just sold my 848 since I only rode it 400 miles in 3 years. But I plan on getting an 1198 once I'm able to get more seat time. I think it really is the last of the best Ducati's with trellis frame. Not a big fan of the Panigale.

MV Agusta has always been my favorite moto brand. Just amazing designs and frankly I prefer the high-revving engines over the torquey Ducati V-twins. I've only heard good things about the F3.

How do you choose which one to ride?
