What model of BBS are these?

Hi,

I just picked up my NSX yesterday. The last owner installed BBS wheels on the car but not sure what model. I also see the same wheels used on NSX in Japanese tuner books.

I checked BBS site and don't see it there.

I seem posting before saying that LM are the only BBS wheels for the NSX except for the special made type s wheels.

Looks like a older model BBS mesh wheel that is discontinued. Probably from BBS Japan. I think it would look a lot better with more updated wheels.

Don't forget that the '02 wheels are BBS also.

I put the LM's from Science of Speed, along with Toyo Proxies T1-S, on my car and they look awesome.

Those are not the current LM rim from BBS. Perhaps a previous style, but not anymore. Last year I was at BBS's North American headquarters while at NSXPO. The LM rim design (and the only street rim that BBS currently sells for the NSX) does not look like that. The ones on SOS's website do.

Jimmy, I don't know if I ever told you but the previous owner told me that he had they were in the showroom when he bought the car from the dealer. Assuming that's true, the BBS Japan wheels idea makes sense to me.

Don't know what those are but contrary to what Andy said, the BBS RSII also fits on the NSX.

Hi,

Your wheels are BBS RS, they are discontinued now and were replaced by the BBS RS II.

"DutchBlackNSX" has a set of BBS RSII on his NSX .

Yes the RS-II fits, but it is not an active production model of rim that BBS offers for the NSX.

I don't know if BBS is still building them but the RS II is CURRENTLY still available for the NSX. Tire Rack and others still have them but I did not ask if they were still in production.
