Where are all the Production deliveries ??

Again, I blame the Acura dealers. From your list Bruce, there are 22 new ones over $200k, some of which include market adjustments.

Most of the new dealer cars are goosed up with options. A local dealer called me recently toward getting me to take the car to them for service. They have one they are selling at list, but the car is close to $208k (almost $35k above my well optioned car).

They want you to take your car to them for service? A dealer that you didn't buy from?

I purchased my car in WI, 150 miles from home.

I reached out to few dealers regarding service.

For my snow tire and wheel project I am using the dealer in Chicago. They were willing to discount parts and have a calm NSX technician (looking to avoid a 20 year old who dives a Slammed turbo Civic). The parts guy is an enthusiast and owns 2 ITRs.

All of these NSX stores have a $200k investment in their shop to sell NSX so yeah, they want any car they can get in the door.

Excited for you Bruce. Hope you'll get it before Xmas. It'll be well worth the wait!

My usual dealer contacted me today about perhaps taking their next (third? They've sold one and have a second on their floor) allocation, which will arrive at some point mid-next year. The big issue for me is that I still have 11 months on my RLX Sport Hybrid lease before I can even think about putting together a deal. Honestly, I'd have to sell my NA2 to do it, and that'd be tough to do, especially having had it for so little time. :( Even so, the salesman is looking at what he can do with my RLX lease to convince me.

Tempted, though, especially at MSRP.

I'd sell my na2 in a second for the new one. It's amazing.

Having seen it in action at Sebring during NSXPO, yes, it is incredibly amazing. I was so busy (and having such an awesome time) putting my NA2 around the track that I couldn't hang around in the pits to ask for a ride in one of the owned cars.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! :) I've gotta keep up with you rich radiologists. Neurologists are your relatively "poor" cousins.

:) 1/508 6MT V wagons extant at last count, nope, it's a keeper! I didn't buy it to be a keeper, but that's what it's turned into.

That's what I figure he's going to throw at me. He's merely doing his job, trying to tempt me. Not ready yet, but with a suitable deal I could be motivated. In the meantime, current plan is to wait until NSX 2.0 are common enough that I can get a discount, and enjoy my NA2 in the meantime. I fully expect to be driving my NA2 to its second NSXPO in 2017, and beyond. ;)

Apologies for my threadjack!

You're not helping, LOL! :) They'd have to offer a hell of a trade deal, and I'm definitely not in a hurry. They'll make more new NSXs, and probably for many years to come.

We have two in Charleston. Mine and Bills at cars and coffee Charleston. Nice guy. He bought his from Greenville, SC but lives in Charleston

The update:

The tour website is up internally and is working well.

It should be available to the public next week.

There may be some preselection (unknown what that means) of customers for the first tours.

The NSX specialists will be in OH from the 28th to the 30th for their tours.

Their tour will include the Anna engine plant but does not appear to include wrenching.

They will have a 4 hour track program including a hot lap from a pro.

It will be interesting to hear what tire they have on the car as it has gotten colder in the Midwest in the past week.

Other:

My 3 wheels that were shipped to my selling dealer in WI have now reached my servicing dealer in Chicago. Once the 4th wheel comes off back order the winter wheels and tires project can be completed.

My Apple CarPlay icon vanished. I can use the smartphone icon to use Pandora. The NSX specialist has not heard of this issue before and is looking into it. CarPlay reappeared this evening.
