Where are all the Production deliveries ??

Thanks guys, found it, much appreciated. Can’t believe not a soul knew that info at the dealership, including a manager that owns a 2019 nsx. This is why they cannot sell more, just don’t know how to take care of this level of clientele.
 
I think the book in the trunk is called the "owner's guide" or something like that, basically an abbreviated version of the full manual. For the first several months of ownership, though, you can go on the Acura website and request them to send you the full printed book. Otherwise, it is available in PDF form via links like those @sbkim provided above.

I grabbed the book and it's an Owner's guide. What I cannot recall is how I came across the temporary one-time option to request for the Owner's manual. The full manual is fulfilled by Helm.

You are 100% spot on. I said this early on in my ownership. The car is failing mostly because the dealers just don't understand that NSX owners are not like the typical MDX owner.
 
the issue is, staff turnover. I'm guessing very few of the original NSX specialists remain, so the stores pick a random salesman to sell the NSX. They dont get the immersive training that the original specialists got. They only get the online training.

Or a random service advisor who is clueless.

My Acura dealer fits this. The NSX trained technician left for UPS and the trained service advisor left. Nearest tech is now 40 min away.

If it's any consolation, it's not just 2nd gen owners who get to experience this. I've been to a couple Acura dealers where the service advisor was clueless about my NA1.

Hey all, Acuralink issue is resolved and the car is finally connected :). Regional district manager got it taken care of and provided white glove service he made a few house calls, set up the appointmenta and loaner while they performed some hardware troubleshooting. Was shocked they sent a flat bed to pick up the vehicle to avoid miles and rock chips.

Ultimately ended up not being a hardware issue but a serial number registration issue which kept erroring out the signal. Not sure why this couldn’t be take care of over the phone. In any case all is functioning now finally. Last open piece is making sure I can see vehicle updates on the App.

That being said the car is parked back in the garage till May 23rd when I get PPF and ceramic coating done.

Looking to pick up a second set of OEM NSX rims in Satin Black for all season tires. Anyone know where to buy these?

I thought I saw oem wheels for sale when I googled. They seemed to be surprisingly reasonably priced around $500 each. Hope not knock offs.

The Acura Y spoke wheels are not too pricey.

Try to make friends with the parts manager at a couple of your local dealerships, 25% off list should be doable.

For my LC 500 convertible, the 21 inch wheels list for about $12K. I found a set of take offs on eBay for $2500 delivered.

If you are going to have a second set of wheels, I would guide to get winter tires instead of all seasons. The Pirelli Sotto Zero 3 tires have been great on the NSX and the LC 500.

I thought for sure it was a hardware issue. Glad to hear that it was not. Sometimes trying to setup electronics can be a messy issue. Timing can be everything. I know you will love your car. I bet you sneak out to the garage often to take a peak. Enjoy

Now that's the service owners should be getting. In all honestly, that's the low watermark for my supercar owner friends at most dealerships (e.g. McLaren, Porsche). Glad they figured it out for you! Please let us know how you like the app, but more importantly, the car!
 
I’ve never gotten Acuralink to fully work in any Acura I’ve owned or leased in the last 10 years. It’s a complete waste of my time and money. I wouldn’t bother with it. OTOH, in my GM products, OnStar absolutely rocks and can do no wrong, worth every penny I spend on it.

Acuralink should go away and Hondacura should just put OnStar units in new cars. There is precedent—My 2006 Acura RL had OnStar built in. Too bad Honda and GM couldn’t come to terms back then to continue using it.

Circling back to the Acuralink discussion because I just bought a lightly used 2020 RLX Sport Hybrid about ten days ago. It's my second one, having been an original "beta-tester" back in 2014. I like weird Hondas, OK? LOL.... 8200 miles, bought it for $43k, stellar car for less than a loaded new TLX.

For spits and giggles, I called Acuralink to activate the system. It turns out that the previous owner had never activated Acuralink and so I have the Connect/Premium service free for three months. To my shock, after about 20 minutes on the phone, Acuralink service had my car activated on the system and by the next morning, the iPhone app was working. This is a first for me.

I'm glad the guy posting above about his odyssey with Acuralink customer service had his problem solved, though it clearly took a lot more trouble than it should have.
 
Hey y’all! Great news all aspects of Acura Link work (in car and on phone). Took 2 months but I’m a happy camper! Been finding every opportunity to drive the car. So far only 260 miles and headed to my first cars and coffee tomorrow. Can’t wait till the cars PPF’d and ceramic coated in a few weeks so I can really it.

I checked Cargurus, Cars.com etc last week and there were only 3-4 new NSXs available for sale in the country.

I looked today

5 hew ones, all lower spec, none having carboceramic brakes

52 used ones, the cheapest being a 2017 with over 40K miles for about $108K
