What a waste of money. I am not too big on the soft serve ice cream looking sculptures and fireplace. Seemed like a lot of planning and work, but should have fired the architect on that one.

Atleast the architect did some cool things. I can't stand the cookie-cutter homes that are all over the country and selling for way more than they are worth.

I'm not a fan of large houses, anything over 3000 sqft seems like a waste to me.

Do I hear group buy?

I'll pitch in a hundred bucks.

I think living in that house is scary. Too large for a family. If i own that house, i will surely invite lots of my friends and relatives to live in my house for free.

Cripes almighty, I can't imagine the staggering amount of property tax the owner of that huge lot has to "contribute" to the local government each year !

$75 mil is A STEAL if all of that is built on Malibu soil, which I seriously doubt.

I'm not feeling those funky sculptures. That spiral-shape thingamajig kinda reminds me, when I'm craving for something sweet, of soft-serve ice creams.

Or, when nature is calling, a pile of gooey unmentionable substance from the south end of a ...... :p

Sorry Jesus, JMO.

On the other hand, the guy is onto something for replicating a mini-replica of his home town, not to mention the dream garage. :)

If I had that kind of $ all to myself to use with reckless abandon, I'd probably consider building it.

Begs the question though:

How much nostalgia, in a convenient way, is too much?

I'd think it'd be cool to stroll down memory lane and re-live the 9 year-old boy in me every now and then.

But to do that over and over again, ad nauseam, every single day when going to and returning from work, when the damn thing is wedged between the basement garage and the elevator to the living room?

Hmmmm.....

That'd kill the feeling for me.

Count me in !!!

I get first dibs on the garage and bowling alley!
