My office is littered with Toys...some car related...some not...and in addition to these I have a whole room seperate from this one with Star Wars figures all over the wall.

Being a huge NSX fan...I have next to nothing collectible related to the NSX...except a few books...my die cast collection has been minus an NSX for some time.

How bout you guys? any toys? Die casts? Or am I ALONE here? Does your wife support your insanity?

yeah maybe I am (maybe?)...but no I didn't vacuum just for the shot...I was cleaning house at the time and we had no pictures to document my progressive regression to childhood...

I don't play as much as I used to...but the amp does get used...not so much as in my days of playing out at shows here and there...but I rock out from time to time in the house when no one is home.

see...big dork.

I can't deny it...but atleast my lovely wife supports my losing my mind.

Anyone at least have Die cast collections? Or am I alone on that one as well?

Very cool collection. I also have a minor (compared to yours) collection of Star Wars, Robotech, and anime toys.

No wife here, but my ex-gf bought 2 of my toys for me.

Youre not alone =) I have a medium sized collection (~20 cars) as well.

BTW... does anyone know where I can get a limited edition 1/12th scale die cast McLaren F1 window replaced? Its been missing ever since I bought it in the UK. All the model shops Ive contacted indicate that only ~1500 cars were made back in the 90's and the molds have seen been destroyed =(. Right now, it looks like a miniature "break in".

I could be wrong, but I believe lemansnsx (on these forums) has an extensive collection of NSX "collectibles". Hopefully he will read this post and respond, or you may be able to E-Mail him (I think he is a moderator on one of the forums on this site).

Ask and ye shall receive. Here is some of the stuff in my home office. Most of the non-NSX stuff has been packed away (or sold on Ebay

) but you can still spot a few Italian, German, and British creations!

Ok, the first picture didn't seem to do justice to all the junk in those cabinets so here are a couple more. Please note: Absolutely no dust was disturbed in the taking of these pictures!
Edit: each picture links to a larger version.

HAHAHAH... that AT-AT on the top shelf RULES! I remember when that came out and how badly I wanted it. I wound up getting the cheapo version ( cut out cardboard on the plastic "snow" base)

You, a nerd? HAH! You should see my office and my room! Nothing but boxes upon boxes of Goddamn(j/k, get it?) Gundam Model Kits, Macross toys, and almost all of the die-cast NSX's anyone can imagine stuffing in one place! I can't even walk across the room without almost stepping on them! I'm extremely confident that I'll make you look like a normal guy after you've seen my collections!

Oh yeah I remember those make-do cut-outs. It was next best thing to the real toys. At least I did have enough $$ to have gotten myself a Han Solo fig in Hoth outfit and my little bro got himself a Taum-Taum and we would share the fun. He did have the Boba Fett and his Spaceship that looked like a flying iron for a long while b4 he trashed it. It was his favorite Star Wars toy but I didn't give a flying care about it because my faves were the X-wing fighters and the Millenium Falcon!

Alright! I thought I was the only NSX'er/Anime fan on this forum, let alone in the world!
biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, that's Macross to you (not Robotech)!
wink.gif

I can totally relate to the Anime and such...The OTHER room in my house...other than a normal looking guest room...houses MORE toys. A FULL wall of Star Wars Figures...some signed...Some Ranma 1/2 Scrolls, Some Macross models of the SD-F1, Roy's Battleoid, and the bad ass Bike/Suit, from the 80's that I put together...DVDs/Videos (all sorts)...Evangelion Vinyl kits (and other anime related foolery), Art, My guitars, and the ONLY Star Wars toy I have from back in the days...the B-Wing fighter. The AT-AT is the newer re-release. I couldn't save up enough money at the time when the first one came out.
wink.gif

So all the Star Wars toys now are just about all new. I went through that phase where I garage sold just about everything I owned to get a bike or something else. Hind sight is 20-20 I guess.
