Windshield blocks VIN#

I had not noticed until someone at the last meet pointed it out, but the Dash VIN tag on my NSX is blocked by the shading on the lower windshield. It's as if my windshield (might be a replacement) came without the little "window" in the corner that allows one to see the VIN tag.

Are there any other acceptable VIN# locations easy to see on the NSX?

Oh CRAP....................I took mine off........you know the 2 rivets and tag were .2 OZ.............anything to save weight :smile:

i have heard of it being illegal to destroy or deface a vin plate but never heard anything about simply covering it up.

I blocked mine.

some cops will pull you over and want to check your vin
to make sure its not stolen
here in oregon it has happend to me
