Winter Park,FL car show

Hi all,
I have been contacted by the Winter Park Concourse D’elegance show to see if I was going to participate in there 2006 show. I think the date is in October but don’t know the exact date. Last year there were 3 NSX’s myself, Joe R, Todd T. This is a very nice car show IMHO. If you are thinking about going, reply on this post so we can get a head count. We need to have at least 4 NSX’s for trophy's to be hand out.

I'd like to enter this year, but it's the weekend backing up to the end of NSXPO and asking the wife to give me more than a week of NSX enjoyment is really pushing it...we'll see.

NSXPO is from October 8-15th

Winter Park Concours is Oct. 19-22
Drive is on Sat. 21st
Show on Sun. 22nd

So, it's the weekend after NSXPO...Maybe I can do both

I wish, I only won a trophy because Joe was gracious enough to bow out. Speaking of the trophy I never actually received one even though I was supposed to:frown: Without the trophy as proof it might be the story of how the big fish got away at least to my friends:smile: ...

Trophies are nice but get a little old after awhile. I learned this from a good friend that the fellowship that is involved with multiple owners gathering is worth much more.

I'll have to be in California otherwise I'd be there with bells on! Wish I could make it. Maybe I could talk Oster into taking my NSX down there for me and showing it as his own car! Cleanest all stock NSX in show!

I have so many MotoX, Hare scrambles, and other misc. motorcycle and racquetball trophies that my fiance is going to start throwing them out even though they are all just boxed in the garage!

I got one AutoX tropy in my miata before I sold it. Won the novice class! I was more proud of that than winning State and Regional Racquetball titles in the same year. I don't know poop about racing a car!

I will be going also, with the NSX, like you it won't be in the show. Hopefully I will see you there. I am guessing I won't get there until around 1ish.

I went and met up with Oster. Sorry, I forgot the camera. The usual very nice cars, including 3 Nobles, 1 NSX, Saleen S7, XJ220, Carrera GT, and too many F-cars, Poorsches, and Mercedes. A couple huge off-shore racers too. Eventually, pics will appear on the hosts website:

I wasn't entered, but parked about 60 feet down from you on a side street by the lineup of cars (Mercedes gullwing). Your car had a brother nearby. For once they put an NSX by the exotics at least! :biggrin:

I was there, I parked right up by the beginning of Park Av. by Rollins College. I saw FeetFxr's car and Andyray's. Also I ran into Oster and Luke but not Todd. It was a nice car show, surprisingly hot for this time of year...which forced me to get a beer:biggrin: . I will post the few pics I have when I get them loaded.
