Winter @#$%

Miled,
You are a wonderful, talented person.
God closes one door and opens another. Wait and see, you will get a better job. I am sure of it. Have faith.
I can't say much about the loss of your pet. Words can't fill the hollow that a loved dog leaves behind.
My sympathy and prayers are yours.
Joe
Hi Joe,

You are very kind. Your words are touching, encouraging, and means a lot to me. Grazie...

It was great seeing you, your lovely wife Janet, and everyone else again. I wish we could get together more often, but I'm thankful for the opportunity such as yesterday's event.

Ciao amico... Miléd

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the kind words... I sent you a PM.

I forgot to park in garage and this is what I woke up to last snow day.

winter @#$% is right!

wow, just got home. caught in some unpredicted squalls. caused major damage here in connecticut. drivers were calling in with reports of cars bouncing off of the guard rails like a pinball machine.

the front came through a few areas dropping about an inch in 10-15 minutes, which then froze and created havoc.

talk about a stressful drive. balding tires in the rear to boot. talk about squirly.

safe and sound though.

now need to deal with the sub 20 temp which is going to freeze all of the moisture from the snow tonight. tomorrow isn't offering any relief either. high's predicted around 20 with the feels like temp at around 7.

whew.

It is brutally cold here tonight. I went outside for the first time today around 7pm to put the trash out for tomorrow morning. I have a very long driveway so I load it in my pickup and drive it down to the street. Would you believe that the pickup was frozen to the pavement in my driveway. I had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to break it loose, tired old strait six banger.

Winter IN NH (01-07-04)

Here is a winter NSX shot.

The car belongs to JON V. (Londonderry, NH). It has 130 K + miles on the clock and is driven year round.

That is really cool. (no pun intended)
The car looks nice even in the snow. I'd like to meet this guy.

Hey Joe,

I think you guys have met at Sparks during dinner at the NH event a few years ago.

You were seated next to each other.

Jon also owns a beautiful yellow Dino and a glass 308.

Stay warm,
Rich

Ooooohhhhh yeah.
Now I remember. Nice man. He watched me drink 4 martinis.
A blurry looking fellow.
:D

Joe,

You are too funny. LOL

It is below zero today up here also.

It is going to an very cold night for the NE Patriots game tonight. I don't envy those guys playing. It is going to a near record setter.

I think I will be watching on TV!

Cheers Rich

Just came back from a weekend up on frozen Lake Sacandaga. After a somewhat chilly friday night of about 22 below zero, it warmed up quite nicely yesterday:

All of the snow in these photos is actually the Great Sacandaga Lake:

Windows don't really ever defrost in these temps:

I did the rafting trip on the Sacandaga river this summer. I was contemplating doing the Moose river trip in April, but with these ultra low temperatures I am not sure about going now. If I do go dry suit for sure. Its a class 5 in the spring so I am sure I will end up in the drink. brrrr!

Northeast NSX Weather.

Very cold up here today.

They are forcasting that a 40 year record will be broken in Southern NH tonight and an all time record in Northern NH.

It was -65 degrees on MT. Washington yesterday, wind chill -100 ouch.

Keep telling yourself "40 days to spring training, 40 days to spring training".

I heard something on the news about some genius who decided to do a bit of hiking last night up in that area when there was a 100 below zero wind chill. Not surprisingly, this candidate for a 2004 Darwin award froze to death.

I can not believe how cold it is here today. I took the dogs out this morning to pee. They took one step off the deck did their thing and were ready to come back in under 30 seconds.

Plenty cold here as well (-11° this AM). I have never seen Duxbury Bay freeze all the way across before. Now I am waiting for a Darwin Award candidate to try driving across. I saw Coast Guard ice breakers in Boston Harbor yesterday as I was flying over. My 2 labs, who love cold and would stay out indefinitely in 10° weather, would not stay out more than 2 minutes this morning. It was hurting their paws.
Stay Warm!!!

My baby is dirty and proud! Blizzaks Rule!

First, Bob's wheels... now this? Uh oh, I'm not feeling so good...

LOL

I bet the NSX with the Blizzaks handles better than those AWD Audi wagons with their Dunlops.:D Hey Gregg, I like the car's new color SALTSTONE METALLIC:p

Regarding the Darwin award... this guy in Brooklyn took a walk over to the lake at Prospect Park yesterday and it's posted everywhere to stay off the ice! So what does he do? Yup, goes out anyway and falls thru. He somehow managed to get himself out of the water and back on the thin ice. Instead of calling for help, he decides to walk again and falls thru the second time. Divers will resume searching for his body later today.

Greg,

I have to say, your NSX is the most wintered NSX I have seen so far. With all the muck on her, she looks like you were off roading.

I guess you win the winter NSX hompage cover.

I am having some trouble uploading. I should have it all finished late today.

Cheers Rich
