I am going for Work Meister S1 3-Piece wheels size 18x8 front and probably 19x10.5 rear. Can anyone who have these wheels recommend me the offsets and disk type used for standard or non-widebody NSX? I have coilovers btw.
I usually get these specs for standard/non-widebody NSX customers on the Meister S1s
18x8 +31 R Disk Front
19x10.5 +36 O Disk Rear
i'll post up some pics soon
If you want a super aggressive fitment, then use Evo's recommendation. Both of the fitments Evo suggested will put the wheel edge right at the fender, if not just a little bit past it. This is the way to go if you're going for looks
If you want something that's a little more drivable, that's less likely to rub, I'd do:
18x8 +38 R disk with a 215/35/18 tire
19x10.5 +40 O disk with a 275/30/19 tire or 285/30/19
Work wheels come in R disk (small lip, lots of brake clearance), A Disk (medium lip, medium brake clearance), and O Disk (large lip, small brake clearance).
Here's MikeC_587's car with his
18x8 +31 with a 225/35/18
19x10.5 +41 with a 275/35/18
synth,
how thick are stoptech calipers?
can you measure the distance from the rotor hat to the face of the caliper?
the the Meister's i got Striker are R disk in the front and we might test fit it on my car with Project Mu.
my calipers are about 50mm from rotor hat to the face of the calipers, so about 52mm spoke clearance on my Volk GTV which i have on now.
Jin,
did you have a high offset in the rear?
higher offsets will push the wheels inward and may rub on coilovers.
my rear wheels are 19x10.5 +36 and its close to the coils already.
I dont see a 18x8 Meister S1 3pc R disk with a +38.
only available in +43, +31, +18, and +5 :frown:
wish they had a +38 though...

If you get the Work SP 2 Piece you can have any offset you want custom made. That's because its a 2 piece welded design.

For the Work SP 3 Piece, yes as Evo stated, your options are +43, +31 for the NSX in R Disk. However there is an even Bigger Brake option, the "L Disk" and those have a +42 or +29 offset option.
Here is the Work SP 3 Piece catalog.

As for the rear, I would HIGHLY recommend going the 19x10 +29 O Disk instead of the 19x10.5. You'll get exactly the same lip size, but none of the tire stretch. The 275/30/19 tires will be a lot more stretched on the 19x10.5 wheel. Note the stretch on the rear tire on MikeC_587's car.
Finally the Front, there's a 18x7.5" +37 option that I would probably do.
So, in conclusion, for a slightly less aggressive fitment and possibly better drivability options I recommend:
18x7.5" +37 R Disk
19x10" +29 O Disk.
