The knob on my oem radio is showing some wear, especially when I turn on the lights. How do I replace the knobs?

The knob or the actual volume pot. To replace the knob, you just pull it off. If it is loose, you can spread the volume pot and this will tighten it up. If the volume pot is loose, then you may need to replace the whole volume pot.

If by 'showing some wear' you mean the white letters are faded this may just be dirt in the letters. Pull the knob off, spray with Simple Green, brush with a toothbrush or similar (make sure you get down into the engraved letters), rinse and dry. This technique can restore knobs to like-new. If you brush too aggresively and remove some of the white paint just touch it up with a toothpick.

Pull straight off.
