What do you guyd think of the New Nissan 350Z and the Mazds RX8. THey are both set for 2003 release and actually the 350z will be out this december. The prices of them are about the same as a used old 91 NSX.
About $28,000. $34,000 for highest model 350Z and RX9 about 28K aswell.

The 350Z has 280hp, with 270 torque.

The RX8 has 250hp@9000 RPM! And about 240 torque.

Both sound fast and have such a nice futuristic look.

Are any of you NSX owners considering taking a shot at one of these new age killers?

Actually, the 350Z will be out this august. Less than 27 days till launch.

I don't know enough about the RX8 - not surprising, since it's still so far from launch.

The 350Z is in all the newest magazines on the newsstands now. It looks to be a VERY nice car, particularly in value (bang for the buck). Great performance at a modest price. The track model is notable because, since the demise of the Integra Type R, it's unusual to find a model that has been made trackworthy at a relatively inexpensive price. Too bad it's so heavy; it would have been even more awesome if they could have reduced its weight by a few hundred pounds. And the styling looks like an Audi TT knock-off.

I assume you're asking about these cars as a daily driver to add to our garage alongside the NSX. I doubt that anyone would sell the NSX to get one...
