Hi local friend.
The boot kits are not that expensive - maybe $50 each with boots, clamps and grease.
Would you replace the axle yourself?
If you are planning on that you could just as well look into replacing the boots yourself.
At the same time you could also inspect and clean the roller bearings and know exactly you are at.
I even have a set we could use now if you want to jump into it and replace my stash set.
If you get a used axle from someone else you don't know where you are at.
If you would like help on this you can reply or send a PM.
I did this last year on my car and know the ropes thanks to threads from many others on this forum and the UK forum (Kaz).
Look forward to a reply - Al
