Just ordered a zoom CF mirror for my NSX. Its designed for a Lotus so I had Sector 111 order me the OEM cleat for the window. The whole thing came to $210 W/shipping. should have it in about 2 weeks. Has any one attempted something like this? My plan is to install a remote display for my new V1. It has an anti-glare mirror installed in it so when light is displayed behind it it shows threw hopefully (fingers crossed). Someone was making them at one time but cant seem to find any info. If i cant get it to work with my V1 remote display at least it will still look sweet:rolleyes:

I ordered the exact same mirror but directly from zoom in Japan (zoom-eng.com). They offer the correct adapter for the NSX that has the three recesses required to interface to the stock rearview mount. My total with shipping was about $180.00 and it took only a week. They sell the NSX mount separately for about $35. I would consider ordering one of those before attempting to change to a lotus mount. Let me know how your experiment with the V1 display goes.

The Zoom-Eng website has...

Prices are in Yen, but for a mirror and a mirror arm it comes out to about $183 at the current conversion rate.

Thanks for the link to their website to bad I didn't ask before I purchased the mirror. Cost me a lot more.:frown: I had seen one on a NSX on EBay. So when I did a search all I found was Sector 111. Ordered the proper arm for the mirror going to spray it flat black. As for the remote display for the V1, its not going to work for me. The position that I want it in will not work because I have a double din DVD/Nav in my dash. The V1 is sensitive to some light that the DVD players give off so being that the detector has to be in view I have decided to not get one. I have a better chance getting off with a warning with out one + the badge helps:biggrin:

Thanks. NSXnate for that info. How did you install the arm to the car. I see a screw on the arm.

Drifter, nice purchase. I'm gonna get me one too

It slides over the existing cleat from the top, the screw holds it from sliding off:smile:

What year is your NSX?

I tried to make this fit before, but I couldn't. Any pics of it installed? I remember there were three grooves on the plate attached to my window. Did you have these three convex bumps?

On my 2004:
The areas circled in red have convex bumps on the piece that attaches to the windshield.

On the s2000:
These areas are flat

I never received anything from ether companies Sector 111 or Zoom they both promised me two weeks. If they don't contact me by Monday I'm filing for a charge back good thing I payed with a credit card.

Spoke to both companies and canceled my order they both refunded my money. Second worst buying experience next to Dali.
