Thanks guys. I assumed it was one of those "live with it" things, but figured it didn't hurt to ask.
No...not trying to be "Ricky Racer" at stoplights or anything. You're right...it doesn't noticeably affect the acceleration at all...mostly an annoyance when launching up a hill from a dead stop...
Hi All,
I have a '95 which I've owned for over 10 years now. I love the car, and drive it every chance I get (which in new England means April-November...when it's not raining, of course). It has just about 140K miles on it, and lives a truly pampered life.
This issue is certainly not a big...
Late to the party, but here's mine...2019 Mustang GT. I'm in NH, so I just slap the snow tires on in November. It's fast and fun, but it's all NSX on nice days April-November.
WOW...if that one's worth $56,500 mine must be worth $10K more... 95 NSX-T, 130K miles, Brooklands Green, no stories, and always pampered...but tan interior, so not what you're looking for.
Since the 215/40/17 appears to have gone the way of the dodo, I'm going to go with 205/40/17 Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4's. I'd like to continue running 265/35/18 out back. Is this combination going to run afoul of the TCS nanny?
My car's a '95.
Thanks!
Rick
Hi,
Sorry to be an idiot, but I don't see where the Michelins are even offered in 215/40/17. I'd love a set to replace my aging Yokohama S-Drives (no longer available). The only tires that seem to be available in that size now are the track day specials (which have less tread than my current...
Hi.
Considering adding headers or these (mine's also a green '95). Do you know if they're plug and play, or are adapters needed? Post the pics when you get a chance. I might be interested.
Rick
Hi All,
Quick tire question...What's the tallest tire I can run in the rear with a 17/18 set-up when using the ubiquitous 215/40-17 on the front without upsetting the TCS nannies? 275/35-18? Anything taller? I don't want to lower the car and want to fill out the wheel well as much as possible...
**** Louis was great to deal with and gets 4 stars (out of a possible 4). The merchandise was exactly as described, was shipped promptly, and arrived carefully packaged. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Soooo....I'm still confused and don't want to screw this up. Let me ask it this way: What would be the specific offset (I assume whether it's an 18" or 19" rim diameter wouldn't matter) that would enable me to run he widest tire (I'm open to suggestions) on the rear of my '95, assuming I run a...
