LOL! If you ever want to have a smile put on your face, then read some reviews where the NSX was compared to the Esprit. Seriously, I'm not sure I've ever read a review where the Esprit was favored over the NSX... and I used to own an Esprit.
If the Esprit was never referred to as a wannabe...
Actually, a black or silver NSX is a fairly discreet supercar... as far as supercars go. Yeah, you'll get noticed, but not in the same way you'd get noticed in a red Enzo... or even a Yellow F355. It's also one of the most reliable cars ever built.
I can think of plenty of reasons why a rich...
Let me plug the MR2 (and the Miata) here:
This summer I did my first two track days/performance driving schools at Summit Point in West Virginia and took my MR2 Turbo. Before going I'd learned (from hanging out at Elisetalk) that at least one Lotus Elise would be at the event, and I was pretty...
Poor Fred... didn't realize he was trying to sell his car to a guy who probably stopped looking 4 years ago!
Internet's a crazy thing. It's like this post went on a trip to the Andormeda galaxy and came back the same age while we were all 4 years older.

Back in my exotic car days, when I owned a 1986 Lotus Esprit, these two guys pulled up next to me in a pickup. One leans out and asks: "What kind of car is that?" And I said "It's a Lotus." And I then immediately after, I heard the other one blurt out: "See... I TOLD YOU... it's a Lotus.... a...
They should have called it the Ford GT44. The first was called GT40 for being 40" tall. The new car (if I recall correctly) is 4 inches taller than the old one. So: FordGT44.
Probblem solved!
I got rid of my Subaru WRX for that reason! Black is beautiful, but a nightmare to keep clean. Had I held out for the blue WRX I wanted instead of the black one the dealer had on hand, I'd probably still own it. Instead, I own a Toyota RAV4 baby hauler.
Take a closer look at the left-most car in the first picture. Looks a lot like an NSX. Neither of the cars in the second picture is, though. The smaller one looks a bit like a Miata to me.
