I have had same problem with 2 other cars (not NSX). Battery was the problem. Even the battery was tested fine.

As in this case, the starter motor 's electrical current is causing a lot of sparks at initial starting. The function of relay is switching the heavy electical current load to starter mototr for ignition. Therfore the ignition switch would be protected. Just think the relay is the "slave...

Thank you every body. I had tried the 600 ft-pd impact tool, the nut still not come loose. I guest my compressor air volume was not good enough. Dan's method was working OK. Just bolted the wrench to transmission case to lock fly wheel. I have the tool today for reinstallation.

Engine designed to operate at 78C for nomal wear. If lower temperature thermostat is used, you take your chances for faster engine wear.

Do not forget to replace the rubber hose too. Mine was leak yesterday.

Sounded like you need to grease all the points as indicated in service manual. I have the same problem. The creaking noise is gone after I had greased those areas. Also, I live in the same town (Sunnyvale, CA). Call me, I can help you.
