The car is in Toronto. The seller is a used car dealer that picked it up off another dealer a few days ago so he is looking to make a quick buck.

Thanks for the quick replies! The seller provided me with the maintenance history. The Timing Belt and Water Pump were replaced at the dealer. No accidents, clean carproof. Tire, brakes in good shape, fluids changed recently. Clutch appears to be original. I'm not looking for a garage queen...

How much would a mint condition, clean carproof, Canadian 1997 NSX with about 110 000kms be worth? All maintenance history available and services up to date. I know it depends on how much each person would be willing to spend, but I would like some opinions. thanks

I'm sure the car will sell; it's not in terrible condition but the cost of fixing it up to my standards are too high. It will be cheaper to pay a little more and get a mint car.

Turns out the car needs some tlc...front wheels are bent, needs 4 new tires, 4 rotors, rear brake pads, vibration in brake pedal and steering wheel, (linked to warped rotors and the condition of the mags and tires...)water leaking through the roof, chips/cracks on the windshield, needs...

anything I should tell the dealership to look for during the inspection aside from the basics?

Update: I agreed on pricing with the seller and the car will be inspected at Ray Laks Acura in Buffalo this Wednesday. If the inspection goes well I will fly in, test-drive the car and then give the green light to my bank. I can't wait! :smile: Fingers crossed for everything to go well...

I'm actually considering both of these cars...2004 turbo cab with X50 or 2005 Turbo S vs a 2002-2005 NSX. I know both cars drive very differently but they seem to provide just as much driving pleasure.

Hi, I'm looking to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 2003 NSX with about 35k miles. The seller is located in Orchard Park, NY near Buffalo. Does anyone know a good shop to inspect the car for me? I'm in Montreal so I don't want to fly out to Buffalo for nothing if it turns out the car...
