Yeah, they're lower than other reclinable seats because they're shaped so that your butt sits lower. They call this lowmaxx or some bullshit.

IIRC, Brides Gias/Stradia are both bottom mounted. I know they have side mounts built in but I'm not sure if they can be removed. Why are you looking into sidemounts only?

I would avoid the duster imo. I used to have one and it swirled up my paint pretty fast :(
