One of the early videos promoting the NSX factory noted that orange peel is caused by gravity acting on uncured paint applied to vertical surfaces. For this reason, they noted that all NSX panels are painted and dried horizontally.
At least Honda have their own joint venture company with Yuasa to manufacture their own LiPo batteries. I'm lead to believe the battery units in the NSX are the same off-the-shelf modules identical to those in their bread-and-butter Honda and Acura hybrids. I'd expect them to be available as...
I do understand the disappoint toward the car from the many angles that you and others have reiterated. There is no doubt it's a technical tour-de-force that immediately alienates some used to the visceral simplicity of the first NSX, and also clearly some of the current 'simpler' competitors...
Potentially yes, although to be legal for road use it would need to be RHD, unless one could get an exemption.

So the question from here on in, is what is it going to take for Honda to get those 'completed transactions'? They certainly can't continue letting inventory pile up at their dealers, so at some...
It's probably a good indicator of realistic market value. I've always felt the listed msrp was too high. There's not the pedigree with the car against the established european competition. Honda now need to permanently discount and get on with it.

I don't know - I for one am very grateful for the work you have done communicating on behalf of forum members - your regular updates and feedback are much appreciated. Please persist - I think it's one of those things where consistent attempt at communication eventually makes it's mark on the...
I'm sure they will 'get it' in time. In a video interview of one of the project leaders, he said he was very interested in criticism of the car - of course he was talking about the design philosophy and engineering, but I got the sense they were listening. The car represents a huge investment by...
