It's unfortunate the fender is also damaged. Hopefully the PDR can handle that for you. A new front upper bumper is just under a $1000. It may take months to receive if you order from an online parts dealer, but it's probably the best way to go. If you need it sooner ATR (nsx-parts.com) probably...
I love how the KSP exhaust sounds, but was always confused about it's compatibility on later model cars. Will be interested to hear how you end up solving this.
I believe AS Motorsports will custom order them for you. However its still a smooth back and not the skeleton/beveled back like the NSX R.
You can also buy NSX-R style seat shells from NSX-Parts/ATR.
Thanks all I found out from Christian (ATR) that they are the same shape, but on the new 2002+ bumper beam the fog light mounts and indicator mounts are missing. It can be retro fitted though.
What's the difference between the front bumper beam for the 1990-2001 (71130-SL0-000) vs the 2002-2005 (71130-SL0-010)?
I noticed that when people do the 2002+ conversion they don't need to change this part. Would a 1990-2001 bumper beam also work with a 2002+?
They are not literally the same seat. They look similar, but the ABE are wider and have smooth backs vs NSX-R skeleton like backs. The seat covers from the PP or PP ABE also don't fit the NSX-R seats.
OEM Windshield is expensive, it's still available, but may take a long time to actually get. It's expensive to ship because of it's size and how fragile it is. Acurapartsforless.com list it as $1800 local pick up only. It's like $2600 retail at the dealer. In the States aftermarket windshield is...
Yes they moved to a stronger aluminum. I was under the impression that this primarily applied to the body panels only as a way to reduce weight for the weight adding changes the car has had over the years. However as the NSX is a semi-monocoque design so the body panels play a role in the...
This is certainly a topic of much debate over the years. I think I believed both sides at some point, but here is why I now believe the 1997 coupes do not have most of the targa reinforcements like the frame rails and etc.
The coupe and targa have different part numbers for frame rails in the...
If you are saying 97-05 coupe has the thicker frame rails of the targa, I think this is still a debatable topic and I don't think it's the case. The coupe is still the ~100lbs lighter which suggest it didn't get all the chassis reinforcements.
