The del sol was meant for male hairdressers...It does not compare to the MR2 at all. Your just being silly now. lol  They compare the MR2 to the Ferrari in at least 4 cover stories...not the del sol. The MR2 was almost twice the price as...
Yep..you are totally right about that. The NSX has an exotic factor the MR2 just doesn't have. And I plan on owning both cars. And I love both cars! But the MR2 is appreciating and I think sometime in the future they will have their day. No where near NSX status though. I would love to take...
I guess you never seen the multiple cover stories comparing the MR2 to the Ferrari??? And the first gen MR2 actually beat out the new Ferrari for car of the year. So other than yourself...Many others dont think its "pointless".

You may be right on the race track. But not the case in a quarter mile. My car is low to mid 12 second car. And thats with my crappy launch times.
I do appreciate all of your responses guys!!!

Your absolute strangers that know the car...Am I correct??? Who else would I ask??? Ive done my research..so why not ask questions here also??? Maintaining the car I dont think will be a problem. I am a...

Well...the reason Im about to buy an NSX is because I want an up grade from the MR2. I looked at a few 93 and 94 Supras also (i use to own a 94 supra turbp)...but i really want a mid engine car. I love the layout. And I think I could be very content with an NSX As long as I can get a reliable...
I will agree the NSX does handle well...And I have researched NSX suspension extensively. So I have to agree with you on that. But as for the MR2 ride quality being "terrible" I disagree. Maybe if you ride in a ricer MR2 with it slammed on the ground hellaflush style then I can see it riding...
Why wouldn't an MR2 be a comparison? They are both mid engine Japanese sports cars. If an NSX is really on a different level then an MR2 give me the reasons. Thats why I started this thread. Like I said I only drove the NSX for 20 minutes or so but to me they are a very similar car.
Hi guys...my first thread here. I have been in the market for an NSX for some time. I currently own 4 MR2s, 3 are turbos and 2 are well over 300 hp. I do love the MR2 and have worked on them for over 20 years! But I really want an NSX also, I've been researching them for years now... and I...
