This is all kind of humorous ; bottom line when they allow buyers to test drive the new NSX in 2015 or 2016 please drive your current NSX there and then drive the new NSX on your favorite "stress reliever " ribbon of asphalt and then decide
Honda has never been known to put flyweight wheels on the USDM vehicles. The warranty claims from potholes and curb rash would be astronomical; better to leave that decision to the end user
In all honestly I wish they would have shown the concept @ Detroit in January and shipped the 1st production car the following October. Does anyone recall the concept to production time on the original NSX ?
I somehow don't think they will have an issue the first two years of production selling out ; it will be those promised "tweaks" and evolving the car that will have people bitchin if they don't deliver
I fully understand everyone's concerns about American built quality and attention to detail given the recent recalls in the news. IMHO the will be a team assembled by the best of the of the best and the proof will be in the final product
TRC is next to Honda R&D in Raymond,Ohio. I guess they wanted a road course to test on but why not Mid-Ohio ? It's less than an hour away ? Perhaps it is too obvious a place to test
