Comptech -vs- Science of Speed non-compliance rear beam

I have the SOS non-Compliance rear beam, toe-links, and front pivot clamps, but I wouldn't expect the Comptechs are much different, non-compliance is non-compliance. They do squeek, but that's what they make WD-40 for ! A little spray every so often, and they're quiet as a mouse. They do help...

There you go, DCNSX, I couldn't agree more, I'm now racing in TTB class in NASA, I think I've slowed down a little (or a lot), as I've gotten older, gotten married and had kids. I've somehow lost the notion a Formula 1 team's gonna be calling me to replace one of their drivers anytime soon ...

    Scca

Used to race FF's in the early '80's, a '73 Porsche Carrera RSR in the late '80's, but got a little tired of the politics. Although I'm still a member, I am more involved with NASA these days.

Rotor deposit StopTech Floating/Carbotech Panther Plus

Thanks for the correction, Hrant. I didn't call Carbotech, as you did, it was just a casual conversation with Shane. I've raced many cars in the past, and do know how to bed pads, and my Carbotech's are fine now. I don't drive my NSX on the street much, generally to the track and back. I'll...

It's so easy to get hooked . . . but I'm glad another NSX'er has joined the NASA SoCal group. We can learn from each other. I still wish I hadn't gotten sick and could have attended Cal Speedway, I've never driven it before and it's only on the schedule once a year. Too bad you can't make...

Rotor deposit StopTech Floating/Carbotech Panther Plus

Well, that's what Shane at Autowave told me about 6 weeks ago and he's always right. They're my first set on Carbotechs, so I wouldn't know the difference. I'm not too fond of the Carbos I have, I'm going back to Hawks after this next race weekend.

Yes, of course, nsxstasy, I forgot to add that step, assuming . . .

Hey Scin, Wow . . . after your first event at Willow, you have REALLY gotten into this racing ! I was so looking forward to Cal Speedway, but came down with the worst case of the flu and had to stay in bed and miss the event. I'll see you at Buttonwillow next weekend, though. Do you remember...

    The Beginning

Dquarsar2, I'm a slightly (3 years) older fart than you, so I started my downhill slide into auto oblivion just slightly sooner . . . and I'm still at it. I autocrossed everything in the Midwest from MGB's, Spitfires, GT6's, TR6's, Porsche 914's, 911's, and on and on. Then I took a Jim Russell...

Any instructors attending the NASA Willow Springs event on 02/11/2006

It's way too easy to get hooked . . . the route to financial ruin ! Glad you had such a great time, Willow wasn't that daunting, was it ? Now, CaSpeedway, which I have never run, is supposed to be FAST. I'd love to see those pictures, you can send them to me at [email protected]. See...

Any instructors attending the NASA Willow Springs event on 02/11/2006

Hey Buddy, I want to apologize for not letting you in for a ride-along the last session of the day, but since we were doing 2X2 race starts and I was having a battle with both the Trans-Am's, I didn't want the distraction. Seems you had a great time, and did quite well. Are you registered for...

Non-compliance toe links - has anyone used?

I have all the goodies, and yes, I did notice a difference on entrance and exit oversteer after adding the non-comp rear beam and tie-rod ends, but then I already had all the top/bottom braces, NSX-R sway bars, Comptech suspension, pivot clamps, etc., etc. Those two items were the last I added...

Non-compliance toe links - has anyone used?

I would agree with John, I have most everything John has, but to do just one, or two, you'll never notice a difference.
