TANTO

Grew up the stereotypical mini-bike builder/Fox Kart alcohol racer for a minute. Built a homebuild 427 Cheetah in my teens set up like an altered, attended OSU, Harley pro-mechanic for a bit in the 70's, choppers to cafe racers to custom jap bike builder, then several bikes mostly of our favorite brand. Design Engineer for Ashland Chemical, CVI, Fling and Partners, Rockwell, American Electric Power, although designer/grease monkey/metal banger at heart. My big HP conversion came when i kind of accidently bought an X19 for a daily driver, modified it and got hooked on handling and the mid-engine thing that led to the NSX which will reside with me for my days. Was a moderate contributor to the original list, but life pulled me away for considerable time, but retirement has afforded me the time to get back. Very impressed with the current list folks! Have a couple of blown 3.2's which in time will reside in the engine bay. While i'm jazzed for the FI folks, i'm an NA guy. Back in the RealTime years once at an NSXPO i was speaking with Shad H telling him what i was into and he said "oh you are into the sound". For a formerly big HP guy, that was of course extremely embarressing at that moment, but he's a smart guy. Maybe those early open pipe harley years imprinted on me he-he, or the F-cars that i was able to drive a bit. Being a custom guy i'm a little frustrated that I cannot mess with the NSX that much as it was SO good as delivered. My giant go-kart.
