Yep, crappy CF overlay or whatever it is. Just one day in normal 100 degree heat and a few hours of it only.
Dealer GM was very cool, I just sent a pic and he ordered it.
I have had no issues thus far from a reliability perspective (low miles though at 2k). But this just did happen because of heat and the dealer ordered me a new one:
Steering Wheel Crack!!
One might think that under a premeditated race but in the real world Id argue that they are very close in repeated launches. I have both cars and the F90 is shockingly consistent with very limited to no wheel spin even under launch control. The tq curve and the power split from the front to...
I have the F90 M5 and the NSX and I had the E63S (2018)... in a straight line this is about right. Its a driver's race in a straight line but the F90 is definitely carrying more speed as it passes the quarter and beyond; I have found this to be the case as well.
So far so great... I had the new box installed (as stated below) and its been very fluid and I can definitely tell the gains. I even have switched the maps to 9 (basically a flat gain) and driven over the same road and passages to gauge the lift. Sorry but nothing empirical; there are gains...
From what Ive done and gathered:
The rear section of the exhaust wont provide the sound or power gains you will want- in sport + and track modes its basically a thru and thru system. Your gains will be via the high flow cat downpipes. The OEM set up is 600 cell which kills the sound of the...
Ive already done 100 cell count HFC's (yours was not available when I got mine (Fi))---- I know when running sport plus or track the oem exhaust part is basically thru and thru. Would I gain any sound with your MaxFlow rear section let alone more hp/tq? I cant find one video where its just the...
OEM--- its ok, I get just a bit of wheelspin when they are cold but the AWD system kicks in- even in Track mode. Once warmed up, zero issues on the street.
Yeah their results are via level 2- Im running 6 and using Drive mode with Sport + .... I have not felt the hp drop off as my shifts are occuring pre peak rpms in auto mode (and the fact that Im not running the aggressive modes). I did feel the tq boost spike bump at around 4k so:
Vivid even...
1. better sounding exhaust
2. better infotainment system
3. seats with more adjustments
4. better sound system
There could be more but in reality its a great car already. I also agree that the folding mirror option is so needed.
Ok so I finally picked up the car yesterday (yes between my travels and the shop closing it took that long to get it):
Some initial thoughts:
1. boost comes on harder thru the usable rpm ranges- you can definitely feel the increase in tq down low and even past 120 with hp (since the electrics...
Sorry its going on today or tomorrow- I had to have the shop do something on another car of mine first which took precedent. And I might not be able to pick it up till next week due to other plans. I know I know this is not good but tis the season.
Yes I have it, used it for my 2018 E63S but not all makes use Android auto including the NSX. My 2018 M5 doesnt have it either but then again, BMW doesnt have AA in any of their cars. My R8 doesnt have it nor does my GTS. Carplay is far more prevalent.
AA wont be on my NSX as its not an...
I dont think our NSX's have Android Auto??? All I know is every time my phone connects when I start the car it says something like "phone not compatible with apple car play"
