For sale:
1998 NSX-T C32B 3.2 Liter V6 engine - serial number 2000018
This engine was previously installed in my 1998 Sebring Silver NSX-T and had always been running fine.
After a low-boost Comptech Supercharger install three pistons developed broken piston rings.
The engine was pulled and completely stripped by Nic Weemaes from Honda van der Poel in Hulst in the Netherlands.
For those who don't know Nic, he is probably the most knowledgeable and experienced NSX-mechanic in the Netherlands and works with NSX-es from all over the Netherlands and Belgium.
Through Science of Speed three replacement OEM pistons were purchased. Other parts were bought from Honda directly.
- All six pistons were then checked and mated to the cilinders and installed.
- All crankshaft bearings were replaced with new ones.
- All valves were adjusted to factory specs
- New timing belt installed
- New water pump installed
- New oil filter installed
- New gaskets installed
- New seals installed
- Engine comes with OEM flywheel
