Please enlighten those with only a casual acquaintance with the BBSC and 'splain what is special about the pics & why.

i might miss a detail or two, but looks like all the stuff has undergone full shine-ification, plus the aftercooler action. Is that thing to the right of the resovoir a fuel pump? is this on the fully built low compression engine?

Is that thing to the right of the reservoir a fuel pump?

I believe that round item with the longitudinal fins is sometimes referred to as a "mist pump". I've seen them in high performance brake applications when the brake pedal is pressed a switch activates the pump. It sprays a fine mist of water on the brakes to keep them cool.

However in this application my bet would be that he plans to spray either water, alcohol or a water-alcohol mix into the aftercooler to further lower intake air temperature.

is that a blow off valve from hell? anything special about it?

To answer a few of the questions, The aftercooler was reconfigured and a 50mm Tial blow of valve installed. We are also running alcohol injection which is dropping our IAT to about 15-25 degrees above ambient. The dyno numbers although good, are not good enough for me, we are making some pulleys to fix that problem. As far as drivability and power, ask Frank(NSX Animal) the AEM does the job perfectly.

Looks Nice, glad to see you are getting things together.
I assume you are leaving your AC in?

I drove the car and it feels great. The powerband is constant and smooth it pulls and pulls. I think the car is fast enought but Mr. Armando is a HP hungry animal. Once he gets the smaller pulleys which = more boost then OH MY!!

It's loud(not shreiky like the super sequential BOV) if thats what you mean, but it does the job flawlessly.

Armando

It sounds like a big whale blowing out air.
