For sale is a used CarTech Racing Acura NSX Twin Turbo kit. The kit was purchased new and was used for a little over a year on my 94', then was removed from my car in working condition. I had too many issues with my AEM engine management system and other electrical issues with an aftermarket push button start system that wouldn't allow my car to start or just drained my battery completely. Every installer pointed their finger at the other company to blame it on them and became a money pit. It wasn't an everyday, every week, or even a monthly occurrance though which made it all that much more annoying and difficult to pinpoint the issue. Long story short, after no fix was found after a year +of the same issue arising, it just made sense to put back the factory computer and everything worked fine. Unfortunately you need an aftermarket EMS to safely run a turbo setup which is why I had it removed and it's sat in my garage ever since.
My car was never used for race purposes and the turbo kit was used for approx 10,000+ miles. It's a little greasy and dirty from when they removed it, but I had a chance to spray all the piping with new high temp paint resistant to 1200F degrees and everything else works the way it's supposed to. On a stock motor and tuned the turbos produced 384rwhp. Local pickup preferred because it's pretty heavy, but will ship if necessary. I spent upwards of $10,000 to have this turbo set up purchased, installed, tuned, and removed. I'm selling the complete kit but does NOT include the AEM EMS as I returned it to the manufaturer and you will need to modify your stock exhaust or buy an aftermarket exhaust system, I sold my NSX with the one supplied with the kit. I spoke with a Mike Montgomery from CarTech who said there isn't any instruction manual available but he would be happy to help anyone along the way with any installation questions or if they wanted, CarTech, located in San Antonio, TX would install the kit for $500.
Complete details of the kit can be seen on CarTech's website: http://www.cartech.net/nsxturbo.htm
My loss is now someone's gain and I'm asking $3,000.
