Chicago Auto Show

Show runs at McCormick Place South from the 8th to the 17th. Noon to 10 on opening day, 10-10 thereafter.

I'll be in-town the 7th to the 9th, but will probably try to go on the 8th.

Anyone planning to go opening day ??

We are planning to go to the show on Sat. morning (Feb. 16th). Then, we will be attending the dinner that Ken arranged.

Just got back from the Auto Show

Displays were OK... highlights included a 2002 Acura NSX (I'll leave the color a secret). Chatted with the district / area manager -- tells me that they're only shipping cars with FIRM orders (leaving a deposit with the dealer). A blue one is reportedly headed for Brookfield

Other goodies include:
- Ford GT40
- Porsche 911 GT2 and 4S
- Maserati Spider
- Aston Martin Vanquish
- Lambo Murcielago (red)
- Bimmer M3 SMG
- new Mini from BMW
- some F1 cars (or replicas) and several lower-formula cars
- a bunch of trucks and SUVs (not really my thing, but hey -- we're in the farm country

)

I have no idea what those three colors are supposed to refer to.

The NSX at the Chicago Auto Show is Imola Orange Pearl.
