Chicago Indoor Racing event Feb 7th

Hi guys,

Below is an invitation from a friend of mine to a Grand Prix on Saturday Feb. 7 at the Addison Chicago Indoor Racing facility. If you're available and would like to attend, let me know as soon as possible (PM works fine). No time has been set, but 1pm in the afternoon is the estimate.

Description: I am looking to organize a Grand Prix event at Chicago Indoor Racing at their Addison, IL facility on Feb. 7th.

Format of the Grand Prix is 3 qualifying races and 1 final race. If 11-20 people, we will have a consolation race. Cost is around $95 a person (depends if consolation race or not). Need 8 people at minimum. If you commit to attending, your payment is expected in full whether you attend or not. No refunds (but you can arrange a substitute).

If you would like to attend, please confirm by this Friday (1/23/09). Let me know!

More details:

Check-in and registration at the event is 12:15 PM, with our briefing to begin at 12:30. Please be on time! I assume they have an arcade like the Buffalo Grove location to kill some time before the event, just don't drink! (not until the racing is over). Bring some gloves. You can either bring your own helmet or use one of theirs.

$80 payment is required prior to the event.

Just found out that the event is full at 20 people. There is a wait list for any cancellations though.
