Be careful in your dealings with overseas shipments. Once that car is on the boat it is gone unless you are sitting in the drivers seat.

x2, very very very careful, once you get the money, you should get it in cash, stuff it under your bed and wait 90 days to make sure nothing funny happens

Regarding your concerns about out-of-country sales, this is legit, the buyer is digging into each and every Swedish DOT requirement for importation; he's asking all the right questions. Of course I won't let the car out of my hands till the bank tells me his $ is good.
