Gran Turismo 7 - March 4, 2022 on PS4 and PS5

Any plans for this to be available on PC looks cool but I’m not going back to console gaming for it. My Yaw 2 simulator chair should be shipping soon can’t wait.

Same here. Made the jump from PS4 to PC 4 years ago. I still use PS4 for regular games but sim racing is for PC only IMO.

Normally I would say not to bet on it. Sony-owned developers like Polyphony Digital have historically targeted the PlayStation branded game consoles exclusively. BUT...Guerilla's Horizon Zero Dawn eventually came out on PC and Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves (including both Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Lost Legacy) recently got announced for both PS5 and PC...so who is to say if Gran Turismo titles will remain a console exclusive forever?

GT7 is the first Gran Turismo title to launch on two generations of PlayStations (PS4 and PS5) and will feature network play across the two.

I just picked GT7 up for PS4. I'm just a casual gamer that'll play in the evening for an hour or so once the kids are in bed. How do we add each other so I can get a reference of lap times????

Note I'm using a controller and will not be getting any form of seat or steering wheel so I assume I'm at a significant disadvantage. Not making excuses but just sayin' ;) .

I can't comment on GT7 since I moved on from PS4 to racing on PC, however I can say that I have seen some extremely fast people on controller so you never know. Personally I couldn't be as fast on a controller than on a wheel but some people can. Just depends on the person.

It’s a 7/10 for me.

They mostly nailed the physics and the tracks and cars look beautiful.

But the game is sort of… pointless? Soulless? Too harsh on both counts, but the grind hasn’t been nearly rewarding enough to me. Most of my best cars just sit in the garage. The online mode is paper-thin. The trophy collecting is good, but feels a little unfinished.

Overall - as a racing sim, thumbs up. As a video game, it leaves a bit to be desired.

By the way, thanks to best online casinos australia, I found reasonable odds, quick payouts, free spins and lots of helpful advices.

I'm still very much a fan of the series...and have been loving GT7 since it came out. And, from what I hear, it especially rocks in VR with the free PSVR2 update (I'm very tempted to pick PSVR2 up, but am not rushing because I recently upgraded to a 75" 4K TV that fully takes advantage of PS5's capabilities).

Here's a GT7 Scapes location not far from my home in Palos Verdes...

And here's a real photo of my NSX taken over the weekend just a few spots to the left of where the Scapes location was captured...

And, by January, I had played through enough of GT7 to earn my first PlayStation Network Platinum Trophy. A few days later, I went back to GT6 on PS3 and quickly earned my second (didn't realize how close I was when I stopped playing).
