Greasing up Release Bearing Fork

I've never done it but,...I guess with a flashlight and stick with grease on the end of it would work. But I would like to know why?

Sorry Guys,

But you MUST pull the trans to do this. The goal is the add grease to the mainshaft spines and the inside of the clutch disk hubs. You cannot do that with the trans installed. Also, is usually requires a real good clean up in this area due to clutch dusting prior to the lube.

HTH,

Yeah, I agree with Larry although I think Runutz is referring just to the Shift Fork not the Throw-Bearing and Clutch.By just pulling rubber boot back the Shift Fork can be accessed. But then again I ask....why?
