Well summer is here and time to start pretending like the weather will be sunny and warm on every weekend! :biggrin: This is the Northwest and we must keep thinking positive or go completely nuts, though some say it is too late for me... :wink: For those who are making the long trip to Portland for a day at the track on Friday June 24th, here is a little sweetener to make the whole trip even more worthwhile, or, if you just need one more reason to visit the Rose City here it is, or, if you just want to come and see those old faces, make new friends, see some pretty back roads and/or have one of the best Sushi dinners to be found anywhere in the United States, possibly the world, no, the universe, this is the event for you. 
At this point if you are still reading this, you are either: A) interested, B) appalled, C) bored, so here are the facts...
THE Drive: South and west of Portland, about 200 miles+-, mostly 2 lane contry roads with twist, some turns and lots of scenery. Maps provided, thanks Roy!
Meeting place: Mc Donald’s parking lot in North Plains (9975 NW Glencoe Rd, North Plains, OR 97133), there is a Chevron across the street for all your fueling needs
Meeting time: Meet at 1 PM-ish, roll out at 1:30 PM sharp, we have drivin' to do!
THE Dinner: Syun Japanese Restaurant, 209 NE Lincoln St, Hillsboro, OR 97124
Dinner time: 6:30 PM, we have eatin' to do!
Please RSVP to this thread so we can make reservations, the restaurant is smallish and we don't want to overwhelm them on a Saturday night!
