Hey guys,

I know it's hard to beleive that this snow will be gone in a month, but with this warmer weather we are expected to have, I have no doubt that we will be able to launch our 2010 season in April like we have the last 2 years.
As some of you that have attended one of these events, it has grown from a small gathering at Caribou with 30-40 cars to a montly showing of 400+ cars inside the Motorplex on any given First Saturday.
In order to keep things organised, please try to arrive as early as possible (the event starts at 8am) so that you can get a parking spot. We have gotten to the point where we have to turn people away or ask them to park in spectator parking when they arrive after 9:30 because there is no room.
Please keep the burnouts and hard launches for the track (May 1st). We need to be respectful of the property and our host as well as the garage owners that allow us to have our event at their place.

Location:
The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
1740 Motorplex Ct. Chanhassen MN
Please check out the Motorplex’s website for map and other details: http://www.automotorplex.com/
For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

See you guys there!

Anyone planning on going to this? Is there an NSX section? Do I really need to be there at 8am for a spot?

Yes, there is NSX section if you be there early enough for it. If I have time to change the oil and put oem seat/seats back in then I might be there. I had never been to April meet so I don't know how bad it will be.

There is a dedicated NSX section; however, if you are late it does get overrun by non-NSX's. It seems that as the event gets more popular the availability of space dimishes quickly after 8:30 or so. Also, space availability is very dependent on the weather, the nicer the weather, the greater the turn-out and the space gets gobbled up quicker.

The whole event is actually quite well done. It is nice to chat with the other NSX'ers. Personally, I've learned a ton from fellow NSX owners from the few hours we spend at each event.

It is really a fun event and there are some very impressive pieces of machinery that show up to these events. It's worth going to.

sorry got to miss this one, down in austin TX. The weather is great down here 80 and sunny. See u guys next month.

BZ do you guys do only audio work?

I'll have my NSX here in just over 2 weeks.

Withdrawl syptoms eh?

The cars and cafe there is definitely cool to go to......the only peeve that I had was one of the people made a ignorant comment of it being a wannabe Ferrari.

Otherwise its great to check out and its 9-1130am which is what so cal should be doing instead of this 7-9 bs.

You have been replied good sir....

Now MN will have another NSX added to their family for a bit?

Too bad you won't see another one on the road unless the planets align.

I will be there with Grey Goose.

I won't make it for this April meet, my NSX is seatless and she needs oil change - anyone has time to help me out:biggrin:j/k:biggrin:

You guys have fun!

Not a bad show today. Only 1 NSX.

Good to see you Mark.

We had a fantastic turn out. Definately over 300 cars and a had the lot full by 8:30am.
Next month will be a blast. We have a drag day at Rock Falls raceway planned immediately after Cars & Cafe (May 1st). There are already a long group of great cars signed up, so stay tuned for the thread on that coming soon.
Thanks to all that made it out!
Luis
