I bought some tires about 2 wks ago for the rear. Nitto NT555. They didn't have the S02's they said they had. Anyway, the guy said they were good tires so I bought them. I could use front tires also. Is it wrong to put different tires on the front? Should I just put the Nittos on the front too? Are they ok tires? I'm going to do this today I think so some help would be appreciated. I don't track the car. TIA

Basically, yes. You want to use the same kind of tires front and rear to preserve the predictable handling characteristics. Different tires front vs rear can make the car understeer or oversteer, and can change its handling characteristics between dry pavement and wet pavement.

Thanks Ken. Are the Nittos an ok tire? Do you know?

The nitto is a very good tire..Maybe even better than the s02.I currently have the nitto 555 in the rear with the s02 in the front and am very happy with the performance.I would just replace the fronts with the 555's when the s02's run out of tread.
