Depends what kind of lunch you're looking for? Nice, casual,fancy, quick and fast?
I always recommend the "Monterey Fish House" off of Del Monte Blvd on the way to downtown Monterey. Great Seafood/Pasta/Steaks/Salads etc.. Might want to make reservations.
If you want to go scenic, go into Pebble Beach (17mile drive) and try "Stixs" at Spanish Bay Resort. It's a good sports bar and restaurant. Big screen T.V's all around the restaurant. ($9.50 to get into the gates, but you get back when you eat lunch at this restaurant. Just give the waiter your entrance ticket.)
