NSX's of Australia Wallpaper #1 (June)

I've been toying with this idea for a while. To help encourage the Australian NSX community, I plan on releasing one new high quality wallpaper each month or so -- featuring only Australian NSX's. We don't have many NSX's so we'll see how long this lasts.

These are NOT a replacement/challenge to <B>FuryNSX</B>'s legendary calendars; I actually ran this idea past him and got the ok. Fury creates awesome collages which are very time-consuming to create. These aussie wallpapers will be following a different philosophy - pure simple photography. I'll only be using Photoshop to crop, remove imperfections and enhance. That's a major difference between these & Fury's work... though hopefully Randy will consider doing some more calendars.


PHOTO DETAILS:
Opening this mini-series of wallpapers is <B>AU_NSX</B>'s black '93. You can check all the mods in his <A HREF="http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/member.php?u=10915">user profile</A>. We took this photo under Sydney Harbour Bridge in late April 2005. It was a beautiful sunset with an equally beautiful (and noisy! ) NSX.


I have stolen a leaf from Fury's book and created a widescreen version. ALso because this photo is very contrasty it looks completely different depending on the monitor you're using. If you using a Sony CRT, enjoy. Cheaper CRT's may come out dark. And LCD users have reduced contrast & will lose a lot of purple in the sky Otherwise, Enjoy!

That's Randy's speciality. If I include a calendar, not only do I date these wallpapers but I steal Randy's job! There's no way I would try to fit in his shoes. Randy will always remain the "King of Calendars".

My personal preference, I prefer just a photo, instead of the whole collage/calendar thing,

it's more about the photography now, ...

that purple sky is sexy
