The Ortega Run is on! The meeting spot is Denny's right off the 5 FWY at 9:00 a.m. Ortega Hwy exit Sunday April 11, 2004. Please reply if you will be there.

If I only woke up an hour earlier and checked the thread, I would have shown up... sigh. I promised myself I will make the next run. New brakes, newish tires (~1000 miles old), and itching to drive...

Cops are starting to read the forums so they start finding out when meets are going to happen and stuff...

What a blast that drives was. We ended our drive with lunch at the Casino. The early part of the drive was a little slow, too many damn cars on Easter, but once we get to Palamor mountain, smiles begin to widen. I suggest we do this more often, we should have our monthly meeting at the top of the mountain.

Thanks for posting the picture Si, as mentioned before this canyone run was a blast. The morning started out alittle slow due to congested highways but as we got further into the canyon the roads opened up. The scenery was amazing and there were plenty of twisties. I've got to say the bikers up there sure like living on the edge. All in all this run was successfuly and I'd be more than happy to do it again.
