Security Light

Has anyone added an aftermarket alarm and kept the factory LED working? Trying to find the wires in the kick panel. Any help would be great. Thank you

You can access it at the kick panel for the door wiring harness or at the security unit. At the kick panel it's a green wire in the door wiring harness C410 connector (14 pin gray). At the security control unit it is a green wire in the C461 connector (22 pin gray).

Fyi.. Power to the light comes from the white/green stripe wire, fuse 45 in the underhood fuse/relay box. A ground on the green wire causes the light to work.
